Known since Roman times with the name Calidarium, Caldiero owes its fame to the natural baths that flow at the foot of Monte Rocca, known as “Terme di Giunone“.
Today Caldiero is a beautiful center where you can relax in the thermal park, but also discover the beautiful villas, such as Villa da Prato and Parco della Rocca with the characteristic building and the ruins of the ancient castle.
Last Sunday in February – Since 1870 Fiera di San Mattia Apostolo (Fair of St. Matthew the Apostle), patron saint of Caldiero and is the oldest festival in the country.
Second Sunday in June – Antica sagra di Sant’Antonio (Ancient feast of St. Anthony) which takes place in the hamlet of Caldierino.
Third Saturday in July – Notte Bianca di Mezzaestate (Midnight White in mid-summer)
