Jams in the East of Verona are produced not only with fruit, but also with seasonal vegetables.
The preparation of jams allows to use the abundant seasonal fruit, easily perishable, without the use of refrigerators and without altering its original flavour.
The traditional jams are with: cherry, apricots, figs, cinnamon pumpkin, berries, plums.
The mustard instead: trentosso pears, quinces, carrots.
